K-State's Bernat wins Augusta National Women's Amateur

AUGUSTA, GA (KSNT) - K-State senior Carla Bernat is returning to Manhattan with some hardware.

The Castellon, Spain native won the 2025 Augusta National Women's Amateur at the home of The Masters tournament on Saturday. The first two rounds were played at Champions Retreat and the final at Augusta National.

It was Bernat's third time competing in the event, and as she told 27 News in an interview three weeks ago, "People say third time's a charm."
