Albany man admits to illegal handgun possession
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man pleaded guilty on Friday to second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. The Albany County District Attorney's Office said Michael Myrick, 26, is facing a possible sentence of eight years in prison.

Through his guilty plea, Myrick admitted to having a .22 caliber and a defaced semi-automatic handgun when he was arrested while on parole last September.
