Suspect killed Portland security guard, injured teen in July 2024 drive-by shooting, police say

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A suspect has been indicted for the drive-by shooting that killed a security guard and injured a teen in Southeast Portland last July.

On Wednesday, a Multnomah County grand jury indicted 28-year-old Mamadee S. Keita on murder and other charges after the shooting that claimed the life of 49-year-old Walter Mulberry, injured in the Buckman Neighborhood on July 7.
