Heading to flat up north

Hello Friends,
The picture above was taken this morning along the beach north from the point at Crescent Head. As it would turn out, this was the swell’s last gasp, and by dusk the beach and the point would be very close to flat. I went for an exercise paddle on my mal late in the afternoon just to enjoy the warm water and sunny skies. To my surprise I managed to winkle out half a dozen little low-tide rock-runners along the point. I’d say the biggest was maybe waist high, but like all the waves I caught...
