Assam to drop all foreigner tribunal cases against Koch Rajbongshi community: CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the withdrawal of 28,000 cases against the Koch Rajbongshi community pending in Foreigners Tribunals. Additionally, official government orders will be issued in Assamese and English, with provisions for Bengali and Bodo in specific regions. Flood monitoring committees will also be established.
