Cabinet approves four railway multitracking projects worth Rs 18,658 crore

Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved four multitracking projects worth Rs 18,658 crore. These projects aim to improve travel convenience and reduce logistic costs. The cabinet also approved the second Vibrant Villages Programme to improve infrastructure in border villages. The multitracking projects cover Maharashtra, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh and will be complete by 2030-31.
