Bilateral trade agreement talks with US may get fast-tracked

India is set to expedite Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA) talks with the US after facing a 27% tariff hike. Officials aim to resolve lingering issues and reciprocal tariffs through the BTA. Sectoral meetings with US counterparts are planned, with the first tranche of the pact targeted for completion by Fall. Non-tariff barriers will also be addressed.
