MTA employee fired for running side hustle on the job
NEW YORK (PIX11) – One former MTA employee has one less stream of income after not sticking to his day job.
A former Computer Support Analyst for MTA Headquarters was fired after he was found to be running his personal sneaker business during company hours and with the company vehicle, according to the MTA Inspector General (OIG).

The worker also failed to disclose two additional jobs he held outside the agency, which is against the MTA’s policy, the OIG’s report said.
