Jamestown man arrested after alleged assault with can of beans

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A 32-year-old Jamestown man has been arrested after an alleged assault shortly after midnight on April 3.

According to Jamestown police, Mark Burch, Jr. allegedly assaulted a victim with a can of beans on Jamestown's east side, before fleeing the area.

Officers located Burch, who has been charged with assault in the second degree. He is being held at the city jail, where his arraignment is pending.
