New India Co-op Bank case: Police get nod to attach properties worth Rs 168 crore
A court in Mumbai has permitted the police to seize 21 properties worth Rs 167.85 crore belonging to five accused in an embezzlement case at the New India Co-operative Bank. The Economic Offences Wing has initiated the attachment process. This is the first action under section 107 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita in Mumbai.
