At least 21 killed in blast at illegal firecracker warehouse in India

Indian media reports that 21 people were killed in an explosion and fire at a fireworks factory in Gujarat.

The incident occurred on Tuesday morning in the Disa region of Gujarat, where the explosion took place in a fireworks warehouse.

Local authorities added that the warehouse was operating illegally and the explosion occurred while storing firecrackers.

Most of the victims were from the neighboring Madhya Pradesh state, who had recently come to work at the illegal warehouse in the Banaskantha industrial area.
