Government appoints S Ramann as PFRDA chairperson

The government has named Deputy CAG S Ramann as the new Chairperson of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA). Ramann, currently serving as Deputy CAG, will replace Deepak Mohanty. His appointment, approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, is for a five-year tenure or until he reaches 65 years of age.
