High-level discussions to phase out petrol & diesel vehicles underway

Plans are being discussed to phase out pure diesel and petrol vehicles in Delhi-NCR, pushing for electric, hybrid, and CNG options instead. New vehicle registrations may be restricted to cleaner fuels soon, starting with buses by 2025, and eventually extending to all vehicles by 2035. Additional efforts include redeveloping roads to reduce dust pollution.
