Update: Wind advisory for Los Angeles County until 2 a.m. Wednesday, gusts as high as 50 mph

Los Angeles County is under an updated wind advisory which was released by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 3:52 a.m. The advisory is valid from 10 a.m. until Wednesday, Apr. 2 at 2 a.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA said, “West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.”

“Difficult driving conditions expected, especially for motor homes and big rigs. Unsecured objects will be blown around. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” according to the NWS.
