RBI cash injections help wipe out worst-ever India cash crunch

Indian banking liquidity turned surplus for the first time in over three months in March. This occurred due to aggressive fund injections by the central bank. The Reserve Bank of India injected over $70 billion into the banking system. This easing of cash crunch led to lower overnight borrowing costs and a three-year low in 10-year sovereign bond yields.
