Affidavit: Man drags APD sergeant 30 feet while riding motorcycle

AUSTIN (KXAN) --- An Austin police sergeant was dragged for 30 feet while trying to arrest someone on a motorcycle, according to an affidavit.

The court documents said officers responded to a large number of bikers blocking traffic and doing wheelies at the intersection of North Lamar Boulevard and West Braker Lane.

The affidavit said it happened a little after 10 p.m. Friday. Officials said the bikers went from the intersection to the Walnut Creek Elementary School parking lot.
