Man gets 20 years for 2022 manslaughter shooting in Jennings
JENNINGS, La. (KLFY) -- District Attorney Lauren Heinen announced today that Tregan Kenneth Citizen was sentenced on March 26, to serve 20 years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence for the manslaughter of Manuel Jacoby Provost.
On November 21, 2024, the District Attorney’s Office successfully secured a conviction when a
Jefferson Davis Parish Jury found Citizen guilty of manslaughter, for the shooting death of Provost on June 24, 2022, on South Main Street in Jennings.
