Major motorway closed near airport after lorry crashes into barriers with drivers facing long delays

A MAJOR motorway has been closed near a popular airport after a lorry slammed into the barriers as drivers face heavy traffic.

A shocking photo has been shared of the crash showing the vehicle at a tilt after it ploughed through the metal barrier.

The M11 has been closed for “vehicle recovery” and “barrier repair” between Junction 8, Stansted, and Junction 10, Duxford.

Drivers have been warned to use diversion routes or risk facing long delays.
