Power out for 21,000 customers in central Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Strong thunderstorms knocked out power to more than 21,000 AEP customers in three central Ohio counties Sunday night.

As of 11:30 p.m., a total of 14,891 Franklin County customers, 4,416 Licking County, and 2,414 Delaware County customers were without power. In total, 24,741 customers across Ohio were without power.
