Trump Says He's 'Not Joking' About Trying to Serve a Third Term as President of the United States
President Donald Trump plans to try and stay President for a third term.
The 78-year-old President of the United States said Sunday (March 30) that he is “not joking” about trying to serve a third term, after his second term ends in early 2029.
“There are methods which you could do it,” Trump said in a telephone interview with NBC News from Mar-a-Lago, via Time.
He also said “it is far too early to think about it.”
