Thousands report X outage: Downdetector

NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Over 7,000 people reported X, formerly known as Twitter, is down Sunday morning, according to Downdetector.

People started to report the outage around 9:45 a.m., and reports peaked just after 10 a.m. By around 12:30 p.m., there were under 400 reports of an outage.

The majority of issues were reported for the app, with some complaints about X's website not working.

Users reported issues with X earlier in the week, too.
