Player wins $526.5 million Powerball jackpot in California

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Someone hit the Powerball jackpot. 

A California player won the $526.5 million jackpot in Saturday’s drawing, lottery officials said. In cash, that’s $243.8 million.

It’s the second Powerball jackpot win this year. In January, a player in Oregon hit big with a $328.5 million jackpot. 

The next drawing will have a $20 million jackpot, worth $9.3 million in cash.
