Tacoma ICE detainee escapes, arrested in Beaverton
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A 24-year-old Venezuelan who escaped from an ICE facility in Tacoma was arrested in Beaverton, the Washington County Sheriff's Office told KOIN 6 News.
Alvaro Flores-Barboza escaped from the Northwest Detention Center on March 26, a spokesperson for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement said. He was taken into custody at some point after March 10, when he was stopped in Washington County for driving with a suspended license and giving false information to a police officer.
