Oklahoma County Commissioners approve property purchase
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — County commissioners approved a $6 million land swap today with a local school district.
The two have been at odds over plans for a new county jail.
Commissioner Myles Davidson says this will benefit both Crooked Oak Schools and the county, but Commissioner Brian Maughan says this purchase only puts the county into more debt for a jail that they already cannot afford to build.
