Property dealer builds illegal bridge on river in Bihar's Purnea to increase rates of his lands

Authorities in Purnea, Bihar have ordered the demolition of an illegally constructed 60 feet-long bridge on Kari Koshi River. Real estate brokers built the bridge to increase prices of adjoining land. Municipal officials faced resistance from locals when attempting to take action. The involvement of land mafia is suspected.
