The Larkspur-Corte Madera School District is investigating the source of a racist slur written across the desk of an African American teacher at Hall Middle School.
The school said the incident happened on March 14, a few days after students had a presentation about racist language as part of the district’s “We Are One” program. The program consists of monthly lessons on topics such as diversity and social justice.
