Dua Lipa wins ‘Levitating’ copyright lawsuit; continues to face another legal battle against Bosko Kante for $2 million
Dua Lipa, the British pop singer known for the hit song Levitating, has prevailed in a copyright case after a federal judge in the United States ruled that the similarities between her song and two disco tracks from the 1970s were simply too general to be entitled to copyright protection. The case is being appealed by two songwriters L. Russell Brown and Sandy Linzer.
