Infineon eyes chip manufacturing in India, plans to double workforce

Infineon is expanding its operations in India, focusing on chip design and software development through two global capability centres. The company plans to double its workforce to 5,000 by 2030 and targets $1 billion in revenue. Infineon is also exploring chip manufacturing options, potentially in partnership with Tata Group.
