Less than seven months after the death of James Earl Jones on September 9, 2024, the Star Wars universe has lost another of its legendary voice actors. Clive Revill, the original voice of Emperor Palpatine in The Empire Strikes Back, has died. He was 94 years old.
Kate Revill, the actor’s daughter, told The Hollywood Reporter that her father passed away at a medical care facility in Sherman Oaks, California on March 11, following a long battle with dementia.
