AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Ronnie Erwin and his wife Lynn spent about three decades putting together a book documenting every sheriff in the state of Texas.

Lynn died before they could finish.

“God had a different plan. He diagnosed Lynn with a very rare disease, where she only had three or five months to live,” Ronnie said.
