The Studio Series-Premiere Recap: Scorsese Wept

Frank Lloyd Wright never built a Hollywood studio building in the Mayan Revival style in 1927 to “literally be a temple of cinema,” to borrow a phrase expressed by a tour guide in the first episode of The Studio. But if Wright did, it would undoubtedly look a lot like the awe-inspiring Continental Studios headquarters at the center of this new series starring Seth Rogen. Rogen plays Matt Remick, a Hollywood exec who loves movies — or at least loves what movies used to be.
