Taking relentless action against bank loan defaulters, fugitives: Nirmala Sitharaman

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman assured the Rajya Sabha that stringent measures are being taken against bank loan defaulters, including fugitives. She highlighted the recovery actions and reiterated the government's commitment to addressing NPAs and financial inclusion. The Rajya Sabha passed the Banking Laws (Amendment) Bill 2024.
