PACIFIC project targets cleaner skies through fuel innovation

Airbus is leading a new European research initiative called PACIFIC to deepen the scientific understanding of aviation's non-CO2 emissions, particularly those contributing to contrails and their climate impact. The project brings together ten organizations from four countries to explore the potential of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) in reducing particulate emissions and contrail formation.
