Kunal Kamra controversy: Mumbai police rejects stand-up comic's extension request, to issue second summon today

Mumbai Police have denied stand-up artist Kunal Kamra's request for an extension to appear before authorities regarding his controversial joke aimed at Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The police will issue a second summons under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Section 35. Shiv Sena workers had previously vandalized the comedy club where Kamra performed.
