Beavers down UW behind Arquette's 2-run homer

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Oregon State secured a 5-2 victory over University of Washington on Tuesday night at a sold-out Hillsboro Ballpark. The Beavers claimed their 19th win of the season and bounced back following a single game loss to Cal Poly over the weekend which snapped their winning streak.

Oregon State got on the board early in the 2nd inning after a failed pickoff attempt by Washington starter Tommy Brandenburg allowed Trent Caraway to advance to third base and later score.
