San Jose Sharks sign Arizona State defenseman to one-year contract
SAN JOSE – The San Jose Sharks have signed college free agent and left-shot defenseman Noah Beck to a one-year entry-level contract for next season.
Beck’s deal, per PuckPedia, carries a $975,000 salary cap hit at the NHL level.
Beck, who turned 24 on Tuesday, spent this past season as a graduate student at Arizona State. There, he scored 33 points in 37 games for the Sun Devils and was a second-team All-NCHC selection.
