Police to share details on arrest of man accused in Austin murder, shooting near UT campus

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department and University of Texas Police Department are hosting a joint news conference Tuesday afternoon to provide details surrounding the arrest of a man who was accused in a southeast Austin murder that happened late last year and a shooting within UTPD's jurisdiction, according to police.
