TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute unveiled a cutting-edge nuclear training lab on Monday. The Energy Exploration (E2) Center offers students hands-on learning opportunities by demonstrating real world nuclear power plant scenarios in a simulated control room.
RPI worked with NuScale Power Corporation to launch the center. It allows students to operate virtual nuclear plants as they prepare for a potential career in nuclear energy.
