USAGM Agrees To Release Portion Of Radio Free Europe Grant As Judge Mulls Case

The US Agency for Global Media committed to release to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty a portion of funds appropriated to it by Congress just ahead of a scheduled court hearing on the issue as part of a legal case brought by the broadcaster over the agency’s attempt to terminate RFE/RL’s funding.
