Outlook for Kesar mangoes in Gujarat improves, to hit market by mid-April

Farmers in Saurashtra report an average crop of Kesar mangoes despite climate challenges. The full-scale arrival is expected by mid-April, leading to decreased prices by May. Though some regions show poor yields, younger orchards exhibit promising results, indicating a good overall season. The wholesale price currently ranges from Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 per 10-kg box.
