CRP upgrades hose metal connector

CRP Automotive has introduced two versions of the upgraded Rein Coolant Hose Metal Connector (CRP Part Nos. CHU0940 & CHK0940) for BMW B58 6 Cyl. 3.0L engine applications.

The CHU0940 version includes an upgraded aluminum connector and necessary gasket, while the CHK0940 version also features a temperature sensor for easy installation.

Feedback from the CRP Automotive Innovation Council identified the OE plastic connector as a common failure point due to brittleness and cracking from thermal cycling and hydrolysis.
