Mystery as body of man in his 30s found on roadside next to popular country park

THE body of a man has been found at the roadside next to a popular country park.

The man in his 30s was mysteriously discovered found in Pilgrims Hatch, Essex in the early hours of Wednesday morning (March 19).

Officers rushed to the scene at around 5.45am, but the man was sadly already dead.

Essex Police is now urgently appealing for anyone with information, including doorbell or dashcam footage, to come forward.
