(NEXSTAR) — Inauguration Day is nearly upon us, and with it will come various bits of pomp and circumstance as President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance are sworn into office.

Even if you live nowhere near the Inauguration Day events on Monday, January 20, your daily life may see some interruptions — though they don't have much to do with the inauguration.

This Inauguration Day also lands on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which is annually observed on the third Monday of January.
