Cast your vote now to name five Portland snowplows this winter
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Portland can now vote on the names of five of PBOT's 56 total snowplows used across the winter months.
To vote, the city is using ranked-choice voting, which Portlanders should be used to since they used it for voting in city elections this past November.
The city says it received more than 3,000 name submissions, including some with local twists like "Froster-Plowell" and "Meltnomah Falls."
Votes can be cast for your top five choices online.
