Supermarkets issue ‘do not eat’ warning for £1 school lunchtime favourite

A ‘do not eat’ warning has been issued for a £1 lunchbox staple a week.

Sainsbury’s and Asda are among the supermarkets, which are recalling packs of McGhee’s Family Bakers 6 Scottish Brown Rolls.

Due to an error, several packs have been contaminated with white rolls, which contain soya.

This means the product could be a major health risk for anyone with an allergy to the bean.
