Centre reconstitutes Atomic Energy Commission

The government has re-constituted the Atomic Energy Commission. T V Somanathan and Manoj Govil are among the new members. The reconstituted commission includes National Security Adviser Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri. Ajit Kumar Mohanty, Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy, is the Chairman. The AEC formulates policies for the Department of Atomic Energy.
