New Turkish Humanitarian Aid Shipment Arrives in Herat, Afghanistan
The Turkish Embassy has announced that the 21st “Train of Kindness,” carrying 724 tons of humanitarian aid, has arrived in Herat. The embassy stated that this aid was sent to Afghanistan under the support of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of Turkey, with assistance from the country’s non-governmental organizations.
On Saturday, January 11, the Turkish Embassy in Kabul wrote that this aid includes food and other essential items required by the Afghanistan’s people to overcome the harsh conditions of the winter season.
