LA County Parks launch Care Camps for youth affected by Eaton fire

The LA County Department of Parks and Recreation is launching Care Camps starting Monday, Jan. 13 for children and teens affected by the wildfires.

Care Camps are designed to assist families displaced due to the Eaton fire or directly affected by the wildfires, according to a Park’s Department news release.

The camps for children 5 through 12 offers environments for learning, playing, and thriving “while parents focus on recovery.” Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some locations will offer programming for teens ages 13 to 17...
