Skies begin to dry in Portland over weekend

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Slightly drier skies return to the Pacific Northwest this weekend as Portland braces for more sunshine.

A sun, cloud mix is expected along the Willamette Valley on Saturday as temperatures warm into the upper 40s. A stray, light rain shower or two is possible as the last of the moisture pulls out of western Oregon and Washington.

A light drizzle is possible along the coast as the final round of king tides return to the coast this weekend.
