Pomona Fairplex opens as evacuation site for LA County residents displaced by fires
Pomona Fairplex has opened as an evacuation site for LA County residents displaced by fires.
LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis announced the opening of the new evacuation site in collaboration with the Red Cross.
“We are prepared to continue receiving residents and animals needing a place to stay,” Solis said in a news release.
